The front gardens

The gardens are fruit-bearing and include orange, avocado, mango and lemon trees. There's a large terrace overlooking the front of the house and the valley below. The rainy season begins near the end of September, rendering the garden green, verdant and explosively lush. Please note, this photo was taken at the end of the dry season.

The washrooms

The en-suite washroom. The vanity is under renovations and is being replaced. A shower curtain and rod are available, should residents request them.

The main washroom

one of five bedrooms

This bedroom, the second-largest in the house, has plenty of room to play. It includes a bedside table and a lockable wardrobe. The room can also be locked. It's right next to the main washroom and overlooks the side gardens.

The living quarters

The living room leads to a covered terrace, from where you can look out at our gardens and to the city of Kigali. The furniture is comfortable and the house is generally kept pretty cool, even at mid-day.

The dining table seats six comfortably and overlooks the gardens.

The master bedroom

Two views of the master bedroom. This room is very large and can accommodate two beds, for sleepovers or out-of-town guests. The room also has a large closet and the room can be locked, to keep safe valuables and personal items.

Please note that each bedroom is outfitted with a mosquito net.
